I’m going to share a little parenting admission with you today. I have been using a baby monitor for the last three years, in both my one and now two bedroom apartments. In fact, I kept the monitor on for my daughter well past the infant years even though I could distinctly hear her down our very short hall.
You might be questioning why I would need a baby monitor in a one or even two-bedroom apartment, and I wouldn’t blame you. I will admit, maybe it is a little redundant in such a small space. The truth is, I just love a good baby monitor.
Now I use mine to keep an eye on this guy…
Especially when he’s up to no good..
But in all seriousness, there is nothing more frustrating than accidentally waking a sleeping baby. Sneaking into the nursery to investigate the sounds of a faint whimper always seems to end with a crying baby. Or better yet, your newly independent three-year-old claims she spent the last 30 minutes taking a nap, but you know that isn’t true. The baby monitor has been my stealthy (and very trust worthy) fly-on-the-wall ally.
Momtrends and VTech’s Nursery Design Challenge
I had the privilege recently to take part in a nursery design challenge with Momtrends and VTech. VTech’s latest baby monitor, the VTech Safe&Sound VM344 Video Baby Monitor with Pan & Tilt Camera, is shaped like an owl. The monitor comes equipped with all the latest tech features: a 4.3-inch LCD, high-resolution and full-color camera, remote pan, tilt and zoom, automatic night vision, the optionality to expand up to four total cameras, and a 1,000 ft. coverage range.
As if I didn’t love monitors enough, VTech’s monitor is also adorable. I am so excited to share that I have a VTech monitor to give away! This stylish, functional, and tech-savy monitor can be yours by entering the raffle below.
Best of luck and happy monitoring! 😉
