This particular item, pictured below, was recalled due to the faulty flower embellishment. In some cases, flower petals reportedly became detached, causing a potential choking hazard. There was one case of a child who reportedly gagged on a petal (scary).
This may be obvious but worth posting – avoid any type of “sleep” clothing that has embellishments, hoods, strings, etc. As cute as these products might be, it’s always better to eliminate any and all potential choking hazards when choosing clothes for our children, especially when it comes to protecting them while they sleep.
